Lightning strikes ignite Mooresville
Area fire fighters had a busy night July 9 when
lightning strikes ignited fires at a church. Fire crews
from Mooresville and Plainfield, as well as Brown and
Madison townships battled the blazes well into the
night. Above: Fire crews fight the blaze that burned the
Eternal Life Baptist Church to the ground.

First
service was held in the new building November 12, 2005. |
We began as a mission church
sponsored by Marwood Baptist Church in June 1975, meeting in the
old American Legion Hall. On May 2, 1976 we were
constituted as Eternal Life Baptist Church with 53 Charter
Members. The new church voted to call Donald Endsley as
Pastor, to affiliate with the State Convention of Baptists in
Indiana and the Southern Baptist Convention, and to build on
Hendricks County Line Road.
Our church has grown to over 300 members and friends
who consider Eternal Life their church home. We are
brought together by the Holy Spirit to celebrate the joy of
knowing Jesus Christ, to communicate the good news of God's
forgiveness, to give hope and help in Jesus' name, and to
worship the Lord as a family of God.
At Eternal Life Church, the Bible is seen as the inspired
Word of God, and Jesus Christ is preached as the divine answer
to the spiritual needs of mankind.
You are warmly invited to visit Eternal Life Church and
worship the Lord with us.
Pastor Don Endsley
